Small Spaces: The Urban Backyard

Only have a little-bit of space? No-problem.

This design took every little inch of space into consideration, replacing poisonous vines with espeliered apple trees, blackberries, desert-adapted Baja Passion Fruit, window-boxes filled with strawberries, and the incorporation of growing beds on the patio roof.

Sunken Treasure…

This design turned the disadvantages of being a sunken, and shaded back-yard and turned them into dynamic pluses by selecting edible-plants that thrive in the shade and incorporating them into a series of solid-structures to give them both character and dimension.
